We use Stripe to process subscription payments. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account information, or any sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Stripe processes and stores all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure. We retain subscription status, billing history, and transaction identifiers for your account.

Important: Side game buy-ins and prize fund amounts you enter in the app are stored solely as numerical calculation data. Fist Bump Scores does not collect, hold, transfer, or process any actual money associated with side games or tournaments.

We automatically collect certain technical information, including:

Location Data

If you grant permission, we may access your device's location to assist with course identification. Location data is used only in the moment and is not stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

SMS / Text Messaging

Fist Bump Scores offers optional SMS notifications. SMS is never enabled by default — you must explicitly opt in through our in-app consent flow.

Approximately 2–8 messages per week depending on activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, toggling SMS off in your profile settings, or removing your phone number. Reply HELP for assistance.


No Sharing of Opt-In Data: We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or opt-in consent data with any third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited cases:

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore) and protected using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Firebase Authentication to secure user accounts.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial transaction records).

SMS consent records are retained for audit and compliance purposes even after opt-out.

Children's Privacy

Fist Bump Scores is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use our Service or provide any personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance by posting a notice in the app, sending an in-app notification, or emailing you at the address on file. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Rock County, Wisconsin.
